Abstract MUST be submitted electronically via the online submission system by the given deadline 13 February 2015.
Abstract can be submitted in two different categories (session types) and variety of topics (same for both categories):
Regular talks
- available for anyone
- oral or poster presentation
- will be reviewed by the Scientific Committee, who will select the final presentation type
Perspective talks
- for senior researchers Senior researchers are invited to submit perspective talks in their area of research. Perspective talks will open the parallel session and should provide an overview of and cover the group’s latest research in a specific area. Once accepted, the talk must be given by the senior researcher (group leader) of the work. The objective is to increase intergenerational networking to give young scientists the opportunity to learn from the more experienced ones.

Abstracts could be amended in the online submission system if “saved as draft” (through the “Saved as draft” button) until the deadline of 30 January 2015. Once the abstract is “submitted” (through the “submit” button) it can no longer be changed.
Abstracts received via fax, e-mail or received after the deadline will not be accepted and therefore will not be considered for the programme or publication.
All abstracts will be reviewed by the Scientific Committee/ESB Council, who will consider its formal aspects and the content. They will decide which abstracts will be accepted and will assign them to the most suitable presentation type:
Regular talks: oral x poster
Perspective talks: oral presentation only
Accepted abstracts will be published in the Abstract Book. They will be published as submitted by the authors. Abstracts not suitable for display will be rejected. Please have your abstract checked for correct spelling, punctuation, grammar and formal structure. The organiser reserves the right to edit abstracts if necessary prior to the publication in the Abstract Book.
All submitters and presenting authors will receive an acceptance/rejection notification via e-mail by 2 April 2015.
All presenting authors are obliged to be registered with no due registration fee by 15 May 2015.
Abstract Formatting
All abstracts must be written in English.
When submitting your abstract, consider and choose the session type, main topic and an alternative topic
The abstract title is limited by 20 words and must be submitted using the CAPITAL LETTERS (eg. THIS IS THE TITLE OF MY ABSTRACT)
Up to 10 authors could be included. The presenting author is selected first; other authors can be added only when the presenting author is submitted. However, the authors order could be changed if needed by swopping the names at the list of the co-authors. The first name is considered to be the main author.
A short presenting author’s bio's is a mandatory field within the abstract submission:
Regular talks: please fill in "not applicable" and proceed with the next step as no CV is requested for Regular talks
Perspective talks: short authors bio is requested, max. of 150 words
Maximum abstract length must not exceed one A4 page. The word count is approximately 500 words.
Tables/Pictures/Graphs can be included within the abstract text.
Please make sure you comply with the mandatory abstract text structure. Abstract not matching the given formatting will not be considered for evaluation (consult the abstract content template):

We are particularly interested in how you have implemented your findings in practice and the consequences of this change. Please emphasize this in your abstract, and when presenting make this the focus of your talk/poster.
